While other areas have fallen on hard times, home values in Franklin and Cool Springs Tennessee have continued to appreciate at a steady pace.
We compared home sales for the first six months of 2009 with the same period 5 years ago, in 2004.
This is what we found:
1. Only half as many homes are selling in 2009 compared to 2004. In 2004 over 870 homes had already changed hands by the end of June. This year just 438 homes have sold so far.
