Nashville Home Sales Rise in December after Prices Adjust (edit/delete)
Home Sellers in Nashville saw big gains at year end. In 2008 just 249 homes sold in Nashville during December. This year that number climbed to 285 Homes, a 15% increase!
The increase in the number of sales was offset slightly by a price adjustment. Nashville Homes sold in December 2009 for about 7% less than they brought in the same month in 2008. So as Nashville Homes become more affordable, they sell more quickly!
The Average Price Per Sq. Ft.
In December of 2008 the average price per sq.ft. in Nashville was $122.24. In 2009 that number slipped to $112.44

I think Cool Springs is the best place to live in Nashville. There are so many restaurants and the Cool Springs Galleria is a great mall. Everything you could ever need is right at your fingertips. Even the commute downtown isn’t too bad. I don’t think I’ll ever leave the Cool Springs area.
